Soap & Cosmetic Label Generator

Enter your soap recipe and this tool turns it into a correct INCI ingredient declaration β€” saponified names (olive β†’ Sodium Olivate), listed in descending order of predominance β€” then lays out a printable label. The part every blank template makes you figure out yourself.

How it's correct: the oil→INCI conversion comes from a curated reference table, not an AI guess. Unusual extras can get an optional AI-assist (clearly flagged to verify).

Soap type

Bar soap is made with sodium hydroxide β†’ "Sodium" salts. Liquid soap uses potassium hydroxide β†’ "Potassium" salts.

Recipe oils & butters

Add each oil and its share of the oils (% by weight). Order doesn't matter β€” the tool sorts them.

Extras (optional)

Fragrance, essential oils, colorants, a superfat oil added at trace, etc. These are listed after the soap.

Using an unusual ingredient? (optional AI helper)

The built-in reference table already covers 30+ common oils and extras. For anything unusual, an optional AI helper suggests an INCI name (always flagged for you to double-check). You get 60 free lookups a day; for unlimited, plug in your own free key from the AI service we use β€” stored only on your device.

Verify before selling. This generates the standard saponified-INCI declaration in descending order from your recipe. Cosmetic labeling rules differ by country (US FDA vs EU/UK CPNP) and may require allergen breakouts, a responsible-person address, or batch info. Treat this as a correct starting point and check your local requirements.

Runs for $0. Core conversion is a deterministic reference table; optional AI-assist runs on GLM's free model. No sign-up.
